Since the spring of 2018 when I joined the paper, journalism has been such a central part of my life. For a long time now, storytelling and sharing information has become a part of my daily routine. My desire to connect with people is something that has become an extension of myself, and the vehicle for which people can have a platform to speak, share their experiences and engage in the tough discourse of our current moment has truly been an honor.
