It opened in January. Located at 2201 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa Heights, the first floor boasts a full bar, outdoor patio, walk-in humidor, gift shop and lounge area. It’s open to the public Sundays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The second through fourth floors include a sports bar, private cigar lockers, conference rooms and a private party room in the bell tower. Those are open 24 hours a day for members only.

The Labor Department reported Thursday that new Florida claims for federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, the program for workers such as contract employees not eligible for regular jobless benefits, continued to trend unevenly. For the week ending March 6, new PUA claims climbed from 2,262 to 2,925 but as recently as the week ending Feb. 20, new PUA claims were as high as 11,473. The U.S. House of Representatives gave final approval to the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan on Wednesday afternoon. The plan, which passed the U.S. House and U.S. Senate along party lines, is the largest COVID-19 relief package to date and likely the last. Under the plan, about 85% of Americans will receive a $1,400 stimulus check. The plan also extends $300 a week in federal unemployment benefits until September.
