Larry Scirotto, 50, filed a federal lawsuit in March seeking damages approaching $10 million for what he called breach of contract and wrongful termination.
“I think the way my wheels were placed and the way I parked and the way I’m trained at the department that was a critical part of me making it,” Sgt. Ron Malone said.
One of the suspects fled and officers pursued. While the officers ran after the fleeing suspect, a second “involved suspect” fired on them from the targeted residence.
Authorities said the officer was filling out paperwork when he began to feel faint and dizzy with numbness in his limbs – “all signs consistent with Fentanyl exposure."
