Norway Township Board will hold a budget hearing for the fiscal year 2021-22 budget at 5 p.m. today at Norway Township Hall, N1732 Mission St., Vulcan. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of the hearing. The board’s regular meeting will follow at 5:30 p.m.
Florence County Board of Education will meet at 5:15 p.m. today in the auditorium at Florence High School/Middle School. The agenda includes referendum planning, teacher retirements and a closed session for consideration of contracts and vacancies. The board will meet again in the auditorium at 5 p.m. Tuesday and 5 p.m. Thursday and go into closed session to interview candidates for superintendent.
