Russell Allen Vetter, age 69, of Flora, Illinois, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. He was born August 2, 1953, in Lockport, the son of Earl F. "Bud" and Gertie H. (Palmer) Vetter. Russell was a big man in size, but he was also a big man in heart and personality. He always had a smile and kind word for everyone he met. Russell was a very special man in his love and friendship and was always there to lend an ear if you needed to talk or a shoulder if you needed to cry. He loved to cook and was always trying new recipes. He also enjoyed watching movies, reading, and visiting with friends. He is survived by his brother Ronald Vetter of Lockport; a cousin: Laura (Tom) Hale of Louisville, and good friend and caretaker: Chris Stidham. Paula Rae Schryer, age 70, of Flora, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Friday morning, May 13, 2022, at Flora Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born on April 19, 1952, in Chicago, the daughter of Howard Jensen and Elizabeth Thompson. Paula re-united with her teenage love Charles Frederick Schryer III, and they were married on February 25, 1984, in Spokane, Washington. Together they shared 34 wedding anniversaries until his passing on January 8, 2019. Paula was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She spent most of her free time loving and caring for her grandchildren and "adopted" grandchildren who were her pride and joy. When not being "Grammy" she spent her time working in retail where she was always filled with an abundance of energy and always wore a smile. Lela Irene Colclasure, age 87, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Monday night, April 25, 2022, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Lela was born June 24, 1934, in Flora, the daughter of Scott and Blanche (Richardson) White. She was united in marriage to Delbert Andrew Colclasure on April 16, 1954, in Flora, and together they shared 35 wedding anniversaries until his death on December 8, 1989. Delbert was a member of the Laborers Union for 40 years. The couple became parents of two children, Joni Lynne born in 1956, and Jeffrey Del born in 1958. Lela attended Florena One Room School and Flora Township High School, graduating in the class of 1952. She later attended several college classes through Olney Central College. Lela worked as a bookkeeper at the International Shoe Factory for 2 years before pausing to have their two children. She later continued her career with the Flora News Record. Imogene Marie Wyman, age 89, of Xenia, Illinois, passed away early Friday morning, February 25, 2022, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. She was born April 23, 1932, in Xenia, the daughter of Everett and Helen (Akes) Carrell. Imogene was an avid gardener, spending countless hours canning and making the food that her family would eat throughout the winter. She was especially fond of making and eating canned sweet pickles. She was a member of the Xenia United Methodist Church where she belonged to the ladies sewing group. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, having always made all of her children's clothing and numerous quilts that she had gifted over the years. She enjoyed working puzzles, cross word puzzles, and word searches. Imogene enjoyed going to Community events and listening to music, playing her Baldwin organ, and playing card and board games with her grandkids. She was always the go-to babysitter and cherished memories made while spending time with her kids and
