So just as a reminder, this is the commerce and Industry Annual report combining information from a variety of internal and external data sources. In addition to compiling an annual snapshot, the data we compile every year should serve as a background for updating the commerce and industry element of our general plans. 2016 was the sixth Consecutive Year of job growth in San Francisco and its estimated that we had over 703,000 jobs in the city at the end of 2016, which is a new record. The city added just under 29,000 jobs in 2016. Over the past decade, weve added almost 150,000 jobs. Unemployment has continued to fall to 3. 3 in the city.
