Wellfleet couple helps the young fulfill artistic dreams

Susan Blood, Banner Correspondent WELLFLEET  Last spring, acting student Tatianna Chavez arrived at the home of David Simpson and Kathy Fletcher to visit for a few days on her spring break from Boston University. Chavez, a college senior, knew the couple as the founders of an arts organization in Wellfleet called All Our Kids. The arts organization aims to help young emerging artists succeed in life and meet their creative goals. In 2019, Chavez had spent the summer on a retreat with the nonprofit, known as “AOK,” (pronounced A-Okay). The retreat was at Simpson and Fletcher’s Wellfleet home, not far from the center of town.
