San Luis Obispo County is allowing prescribed burns across three different areas. This comes as warmer temperatures head our way and wildfire threats increase.
The planned burning of around 120 brush piles is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, Jun. 30 at Montaña de Oro, Hearst San Simeon, and Morro Bay State Parks in San Luis Obispo County.
There is prescribed burning scheduled for multiple San Luis Obispo County state parks beginning Tuesday and lasting through Friday, March 24 according to California State Park officials.
The California Department of Parks and Recreation will be conducting prescribed burns in select areas of San Luis Obispo County from Mar. 7 to Mar. 24.
