Some people can’t wait for a new version of Windows 10. They sign up for insider editions and eagerly watch for the next release.
I’m exactly the opposite of that.
I wait and make sure the version of Windows 10 that I’m using is fully compatible with my applications and I have time to deal with any side effects. My philosophy with security updates is the same; I don’t install them right away. (Though I
do install them every month without fail.) If you haven’t yet installed the January updates, do so as soon as possible.

Mozilla Firefox 85 Kills Support for Adobe Flash Player

Mozilla has released an updated version Firefox 85. This new version has ended the support for Adobe Flash Player plugin and “protects” users from supercookies. Firefox 85 is no more supporting the Adobe Flash neither have a setting to re-enable it. It was a pre-decided move. Mozilla announced in 2017 that it will end the support for Adobe Flash Player in Firefox 85.

Other than that, the latest version of Firefox also comes with a biggest change and that is the crackdown on supercookies. These are the trackers which stay hidden in the browser and track you online even after you clear cookies.

Mozilla noted that supercookies are store user identifiers, and are much more difficult to delete and block. Now with Firefox 85, the browser maker has ended support for the Adobe Flash Player plugin and has brought in ways to block supercookies.

Last week Google released Chrome 88 and permanently ended support for Adobe Flash Player.
Adobe announced the end of Flash in mid-2017 along with Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Mozilla.
