california. some up in the san francisco bay area. others down here in southern california. the real threat during the seven-day event hasn t been mudslides which everyone fierce when we get so much rain. the real problem is the flooding. the national weather service says six to 13 inches of rain has fallen in the last seven days since we ve been pummeled by this storm. in some cases we received several inches an hour which created some major flash flooding problems. let s get to the video now down in san diego where they really received a lot of rain yesterday, creating flash flooding where a hotel had to be evacuated. about 50 guests had to be rescued by lifeguards in swift-water rescue teams at the premier inn. people are holding onto their belongings in the rafts as two to three feet of water rushed into that hotel, trapping people. listen. some of those guests had some medical issues. one woman was pregnant. another woman had cardiac issues.
