REDONDO BEACH, CA A draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Healthy Living Campus was released to the public by the BCHD this week and the community is encouraged to comment.
The project, located on the Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) property at 514 N. Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach, reimagines the former hospital site to better serve and meet the current and future community needs of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Redondo Beach residents.

REDONDO BEACH, CA A Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Healthy Living Campus will be released on Wednesday and the community is encouraged to review and comment.
The project, located on the Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) property at 514 N. Prospect Ave., reimagines the former hospital site to better serve and meet the current and future community needs of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Redondo Beach residents. In the last two months, grants have been awarded to just over two dozen planned walk/bike projects in various places throughout L.A. County. In January, Metro approved its first tranche of Measure M sales tax funded Active Transportation grants. In February, the California Transportation Commission (CTC) announced staff recommendations for the 2021 Active Transportation Program grants, though these still need to be approved by the CTC.
