STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. After last year’s Camp-O-Ree was cancelled amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, hundreds of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts returned to William H. Pouch Scout Camp in Sea View for the annual outdoor event Saturday.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 33 camper patrols consisting of more than 225 scouts and 30 volunteers participated in several competitions that challenged the various skill sets.
