second. the sup hasn t come up yet. we get up really early this morning. time for a look at the top stories. late last night by a partisan 219-212 marginen, congress passed president obama s health care reform bill. from here it requires a simple majority vote in the senate to become final with no possibility of a republican filibuster. if the reconciliation package is approved without changes, it goes to the president s desk for signing into law. with lawmakers focusing much of their attention on health care, demonstrators funneled into washington yesterday hoping to draw attention to immigration overhaul. tens of thousands packed the national mall where president obama appeared in the video message saying he was committed to working on a bill to fix a, quote, immigration system. let s say right now, at least we are moving to a noncontroversial subject, immigration reform. health care is done. we ll talk to pat buchanon about that in a minute.
