While leaders insist the Five Power Defence Arrangements pact involving Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore has value, questions have emerged about its relevance amid groupings like Aukus.
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is firmly committed to the Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) despite the emergence of the new Australia-United Kingdom-United States (Aukus) security pact, says Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.
“It doesn't reflect a reduction in our friendships with colleagues and allies. It doesn't in any way represent a challenge," UK armed forces minister said.
