Five Moons Dance Festival honoring The Five Moons ballerinas this year's festival features discussions and educational events with Peoria members, dance artists and scholars along with dance performances by Tulsa and Oklahoma Ballet, Eastern Shawnee Stomp Dancers and others
OKLAHOMA CITY ― The second annual dance festival honoring the five renowned Native American ballerinas from Oklahoma known as the Five Moons will be held Friday through Sunday, September 9-11.
If you’re in the mood for ballet and enjoying the talented dancers we have in central Oklahoma, you’re in for a treat with Oklahoma City Ballet’s new season (and a free outdoor performance) and a festival at the First Americans Museum and in Norman.
After performing a "Short & Sweet" version of "The Nutcracker" in 2020, OKC Ballet is bringing back the holiday favorite this season in full, with eight performances.
