Moments later, second accident. A driver of a tour bus traveling westbound rearended a teacup truck sending that vehicle to eastbound lanes as well. The dual accidents backed up traffic in this part of the south bay impacting motorists days before a major holiday. From there, we were just like bumpertobumper the whole time. Its been pretty crazy. Reporter drivers headed for alternate routes, team of engineers and other experts work to get the crane righted. With caltrans crews clearing debris. Repairing a section of the damaged median after several hours, the measurements were right to lift the crane back onto its wheels. We have some real expertise, being able to get this cleaned up as quickly as possible. Reporter two drivers were injured in the pair of accidents. The driver of the crane suffered minor injuries but did not go to the hospital. The driver of the pickup truck that was rearended, he did go to the hospital with minor injuries.
