A senior heading to Harvard from a Massachusetts asked that her school give tens of thousands of dollars it had awarded her for a college scholarship to someone.
"I am so very grateful for this but I also know that I am not the one who needs this the most," Harvard-bound scholar Verda Tetteh said before her classmates.
Most high school grads would gladly take $40,000 in scholarships to help pay for expenses in college. But Verda Tetteh isn't most high school graduates.
