“Attracting Birds, Butterflies, Bees and Other Beneficials,” a 90-minute PowerPoint presentation with naturalist and landscaper John Root, will be presented via Zoom on Wednesday, April 21 at 7 p.m.
A variety of plants that nourishes these organisms throughout their lifecycles will be discussed, and organic methods for establishing wildlife habitat will also be presented. Handouts will be downloadable, and comments and questions will be welcome at the conclusion of the program. A recording of this event will be scheduled for multiple broadcasts by Fitchburg Access Television and will be accessible at the FATV website via YouTube.
Root is a certified Organic Landscaping Professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Oberlin College.
