joining us at the white house. we have dr. sanjay gupta joining us to break it down for us. what more do you know about the president s condition? president biden tested positive for coronavirus this morning. we re told that the president went to bed last night, largely feeling fine, but he woke up this morning having not slept very well, tested, according to the white house s routine screening procedures, that s according to the white house doctor, dr. kevin o connor, who says that the president is now experiencing mild symptoms, which include a runny nose, fatigue, and an occasional dry cough. the president s physician recommended that he begin a course of paxlovid, that antiviral that is considered the gold standard of care for coronavirus, particularly early on in the onset of the disease. and, we re told by the white house that the president has, indeed, begun that course of paxlovid. now, i also spoke separately with dr. ashish jha, the white house s coronavirus coord
