Normally awarded to a single resident, Brainerd Mayor Dave Badeaux said at the city council meeting Tuesday, Feb. 16, this was a special scenario in which to celebrate a group of volunteers and individuals. “We are celebrating the Brainerd Jaycees for their execution of the ice fishing contest,” he said.
