The Minnesota Fish Opener is set for Saturday, May 15th. This opens the season for walleye, sauger, and northern pike in the state of Minnesota.
KULM, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Game & Fish Department Advisory Board has planned public meetings on site this spring at eight locations across the state.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says the District 6 meeting will be held in Kulm on Tuesday, April 20th.
District 6 includes Barnes, Dickey, Foster, Griggs, Logan, LaMoure, McIntosh, Stutsman and Wells counties. The host of the meeting is Kulm Rod and Gun Club.
Attendance will be limited at the eight locations due to physical distancing guidelines. Those unable to attend in-person will be able to view and participate in the April 26 livestream event.

Leier adds that as we enter April, it’s a reminder that the Spring Turkey season is scheduled to begin April 10th. He adds preparing for that and getting your renewed fishing license should be at the top of the list.
Leier urged that outdoor enthusiast also keep in mind the high danger wildfire potential.
Game & Fish will also be holding Game Warden testing later this year and the department is also starting their assessment of post winter mule deer population in the badlands.
