The Forestry Development Authority in collaboration with GIZ have ended a daylong meeting with stakeholders of River Gee County in Fish Town City, Monday.
Mr. Joseph N. Greene, head of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) in his opening remarks, explained that the meeting is aimed at giving a clear picture on the importance of the Grebo-Krahn National Park Management Regional Validation.
“It is very important for everyone to collectively protect the forest and the animals, to be used in the future. I wish to encourage every participants to make good use of this golden opportunity and be able to share with their families and friends who are unable to attend this meeting, forest, animal’s management is key”.

President George Weah has disclosed plans to construct fifteen presidential palaces in all of the political sub-division of the country, as well as, building 200 housing units in Fish Town City, RiverGee County.
President Weah, during a visit to RiverGee County recently, promises to develop RiverGee, which is one of the least developed counties in the country. According to President Weah, his desire to develop RiverGee County is in fulfillment of his campaign promises and the need to better the lives of Liberians.
However, President Weah told the people of RiverGee County that the “Presidential Palace” in the county does not represent the kind of object they were talking about.
