Bolton Cares, owned by Bolton Council to support adults in the borough, stepped in to see if it could help Callum and his family. Bolton Cares’ specialist autism service worked closely with Callum’s family and Firwood so he could access its specialist autism day service Bolton Cares’ autism service operates in very small Covid-safe bubbles which meant Callum was able to attend its day care. The team said that the experience has been truly fantastic for everyone involved.
