NCT Dream, who recently released their comeback album Hot Sauce, has attained an impressive first-week album sales record on Hanteo Chart, making them the third K-pop group to do so.

NCT Dream Becomes the First Artist under SM Entertainment to Attain This First-Week Album Sales Record
On May 16, Hanteo Chart announced how many copies of NCT Dream s Hot Sauce were sold in the first week since the album s release on May 10. The album recorded more than one million copies as of 8:20 p.m. KST on that day.
Hanteo Chart said that as of 9:50 p.m. KST on May 16, Hot Sauce has a cumulative album sales of 1,009,537 copies.
On the list, NCT claimed the first and fifth spot, through NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 2. In particular, the Smart Music Album or kit version placed in No. 1, while Departure version ranked fifth.
Following NCT is BTS BE (Essential Edition), while IZ ONE s online concert ONEIRIC THEATER Blu-ray and kit videos ranked third and fourth, consecutively.
Meanwhile, Colde s third mini-album 이상주의 ranked sixth, while OST of JTBC s Wednesday-Thursday drama Run On grabbed the seventh spot.
