Several severe storms causing lightning, wind gusts, and possible tornadoes are possible in the watch zone; additional active storms being forecast late tonight
Tuesday and Wednesday bring us warm, humid weather with a mix of sun and clouds above. Wednesday night into Thursday morning we are monitoring for the potential of strong to severe storms.
If a warning is issued for you area, please take cover immediately. Storm activity will begin Wednesday early morning in tri-state neighborhoods before exiting to our east later in the afternoon.
Make sure you have multiple ways to get alerts in case a watch or warning is issued for your area. Storms could produce hail, gusty wind, and an isolated tornado.
Extended precipitation and temperatures outlooks for the United States have been released by the Climate Prediction Center. They include the months of April, May, and June.
