Syracuse point guard Dyaisha Fair has surpassed 3,000 career points, hitting the mark with a free throw in the fourth quarter during SU’s Jan. 14 matchup against Clemson. Fair is the 16th woman and 26th D-I player ever to reach the milestone.
For the first time since transferring to Syracuse, point guard Dyaisha Fair didn’t start. The Orange still had no problem defeating Coppin State 80-47, led by Fair's 16 points.
Dyaisha Fair has been named to her second consecutive Naismith Women’s Player of the Year Watch List. Last season, she finished with 19.9 points per game and a First Team All-ACC selection.
Oronde Gadsden II was injured on Syracuse's second offensive play against Western Michigan. In two games this year, Gadsden has tallied 67 yards and one touchdown.
