Manufactured housing resident scholarship entries due June 1
Qualifying residents of manufactured housing in Delaware can receive scholarship funds to further their education. First State Manufactured Housing Association is offering four $2,500 scholarships to graduating seniors, GED recipients or students who are currently enrolled in college, technical schools or trade schools. Full- or part-time registration in an accredited program is acceptable. Award recipients may reapply annually. Eligible candidates must have lived in a manufactured or modular home in Delaware for at least one year prior to the application. Evaluations will consider essay response, scholastic grades, community involvement, honors recommendations and personal goals. Deadline for submission is Tuesday, June 1.
