MONROEÂ â The town is about to lose two valued employees, First Selectman Ken Kellogg announced during the Town Council meeting on Monday, May 10. Those two employees are Lorna Rhyins, library director, and Henna Ali, social services director.
Mr. Kellogg said, âLorna Rhyins has decided to pursue another opportunity as director of a library closer to her home. As most of you are aware, Lorna has been with the town for over 10 years, and was promoted to director in 2018.
âI am grateful for her many years of leadership at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, where she has successfully expanded our services, programming and partnerships in the community.
