Bendall joined First Mortgage Trust in August 2020 as general manager and has more than 20 years’ experience in the property, banking and finance industries. First Mortgage Managers chair Michael Smith said: “Paul has spent the last 12 months working closely with the current CEO Tony Kinzett and the board, and has a thorough understanding of the business and shares our vision and goals for the future of FMT.”

Smith said Kinzett had led the business through significant change and growth in the last 15 years. When Tony came into the role in 2006, the investor fund size was $280 million. By comparison, we now have over $1 billion in the trust, with nearly 5000 investors on-board, he said.
