Tony Evers and First Lady Kathy Evers have received their second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. A year ago today, I declared the first public health emergency in response to #COVID19. Today, Wisconsin leads the country in vaccine doses used, and with a third of Wisconsinites 65 and over fully vaccinated, Kathy and I were excited to join them by getting our second doses. pic.twitter.com/04Ob5UTGCQ The governor received his first dose on Feb. 12, while the First Lady received hers earlier that same week. The two received the vaccine as part of the eligible group of Wisconsinites who are 65 and older.

Tony Evers - Dec 17th, 2020 01:09 pm Wisconsin Executive Residence holiday decorations adapted to be enjoyed outdoors and virtually MADISON  Gov. Kathy Evers today announced that more than 5,000 “Hope” themed handmade ornaments crafted by students across Wisconsin were sent to more than 50 hospitals, assisted living facilities and nursing homes, service providers for people with disabilities, and veterans homes and housing centers to help spread hope across the state this holiday season. Students sent in nearly double the number of ornaments typically received in previous years. A full list of hope ornament recipients is available here.

Tony Evers and First Lady Kathy Evers announced on Saturday that Wisconsinites are invited to view holiday decorations at the Executive Residence that are meant to honor service members and celebrate hope, a release said. The Executive Residence is decorated outside so that visitors can drive, bike or walk by and enjoy it safely during the ongoing pandemic. “Families across our state and country are adjusting to the pandemic to carry on their traditions and celebrations safely, and our family is no different,” Gov. Evers said. “From our Tribute to our Troops tree to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Awareness trees, to the wreaths and trees provided by Wisconsin growers, the decorations at the Residence tell the stories of Wisconsinites.
