According to studies, each K-pop fan can spends up to an average of $1,422 (about 1.57 million KRW) for their favorite K-pop idols. In particular, an overseas market research company,
iPrice, analyzed and released the ranking of the world s most expensive expenditure of a K-pop fan in November.
As a result, BTS fandom called ARMY topped the list. TWICE s fan club ONCEs then ranked second and BLACKPINK s fanbase BLINKs claimed the third spot.
Top Spender K-Pop Fandoms
Among K-pop fans around the world, ARMY, the fandom of the global group BTS is revealed to be the fandom that spends the most money. According to studies, ARMYs spend an average of $545 (about 600,000 won) per person for BTS goods, $541 (about 590,000 won) for concert tickets, and $336 (about 370,000 won) for BTS albums.

BTS and BLACKPINK have reigned supreme again after they were announced, on Tuesday, Dec. 22, as two of the winners of the 2021 Korea First Brand Awards.
Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, V, RM and Jungkook, collectively known as BTS, received the Best Male Idol award while Jennie, Rose, Lisa and Jisoo, collectively known as BLACKPINK, were named as the Best Female Idol. Kang Daniel and MAMAMOO member Hwasa were, also, awarded as Best Male Solo Artist and Best Female Solo Artist, respectively.

Stray Kids, which is composed of Hyunjin, Bang Chan, Felix, I.N., Lee Know, Han, Changbin and Seugmin, received that Hot Male Trend award. On the other hand, (G)I-DLE, which is composed of Minnie, Jeon So Yeon, Yeh Shu Hua, Song Yuqi, Choi Mi Yeon and Seo Soo Jin, won the Hot Female Trend award.
