‘Pawtriot Dogs’ book series penned by Longmeadow children’s author

LONGMEADOW For young readers who love dogs and stories of military daring-do, former U.S. Army Capt. Samuel Fortsch has written a four-book series chronicling the adventures of retired Army Sgt. Ricochet, a Belgian Malinois, along with a cast of quirky canine cohorts.
The paperback “Pawtriot Dogs” series was recently published by Grosset & Dunlap, an imprint of Penguin Random House in New York and is now available at major retailers just in time for the holiday gift-buying season.
More than 40,000 books have been shipped to book retailers since the first two in the “Pawtriot” series were released on Sept. 1, 2020 followed by the release of the third and fourth books on Oct. 20.
