More or less 1,000 Filipino seafarers have arrived in the country as part of the repatriation program of the national government amid the global threats of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
MANILA, Apr. 12 — The maritime sector of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), consisting of the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), has facilitated the arrival of approximately 1000 Filipino crew members aboard MV.
