A CHESTER school has been celebrating Christmas differently this year whilst still ensuring all the pupils have lots of fun. The Christmas activities at The Firs Prep School kicked off with a Christmas tree decoration competition which was won by Max and Clara Lichstein. The entire school then celebrated Christmas jumper day and raised nearly £200 for the Countess of Chester Hospital s Blue Skies Appeal and the following week enjoyed the annual delicious and home-made Christmas lunch prepared by the school’s own chef James. An annual event for the older children is the pantomime which is organised by the Firs Parent Group. This year the pantomime was presented to each year bubble with a reduced cast of two, but the modern day Cinderella theme was still very well received.
