you are a white evangelical christian. catholic. but evangelicals love you. we want you to be part of the conversation. what we saw saturday in charlottesville, those people weren t fringe elements. those were bankers. that is a small piece of the population that got the headline. i think it is important one of the things you said it is important to understand who washington was, who robert e. lee was. it s important to understand how we are, where we are today. i think what s important and i ve been to many countries around the world where you don t have racial justice and no mechanism to move in that direction. there are many problems today and i acknowledge those and i love this conversation, i think it s great. i m working in congress to deal with these issues.
