Ballet debuts Firefly Tour in region
COREY MCMAKEN | The Journal Gazette
Fort Wayne Ballet is wrapping up its season with the debut of its Firefly Tour, a series of free performances that takes the company to outdoor venues in the region.
Artistic director Karen Gibbons-Brown says the programs for each performance will vary but will feature some of the strongest family-friendly pieces from the current season. The programs last about an hour and are varied because not all of the company dancers are available for each of the performances. Pieces range from classical to contemporary including works staged by the Ballet s artistic staff and dancers.
