Two firefighters named Brian Merkle and Ed Bellman were in for quite a hilarious surprise when they braved the snow to rescue a goose who stuck.
The Monroe Township fire department received a call about an injured bird that was on the ice for the past two days on the River Raisin in Michigan. Merkle and Bellman went on to rescue it with all the necessary equipment.
When they reached closer to the bird , they realized that it was not real but it was, in fact, a decoy that was planted there. Despite the slight fumble, they still got it out of the snow and rescued it.
