Story. Reporter it has been one week since the last Public Safety power shut off, we could see another tonight and it could affect nearly every bay county. If you live in one of these counties there is a chance you could lose power. 7500 customers in the bay area are under a power safety watch the majority are in the north bay. It is an annoyance but the fire danger is so extreme and scary, you know, i am rightfully they are doing something. If pg e decides to move forward, power could be cut on a rolling basis from late tonight until friday morning. 54,000 customer accounts across 19 Northern California counties and two tribal communities could be affected. When we get the weather cleared we could start patrolling our lines, our goal would be to turn our customers back on within 12 to 18 hours. Setting wildfire season, and there is concern it could get any worse. The red flag warning started just an hour ago and lasts until 9 00 p. M. Monday night for much of the bay area.
