Man arrested in relation to south Laredo drive-by shooting

A man has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in the El Eden neighborhood in south Laredo, according to an arrest affidavit filed on Monday.
Johnny Gabriel Aguilar, 30, was arrested and charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
Laredo police officers responded to a drive-by shooting on Feb. 4 in the 5000 block of Cerros Drive. One .45 caliber spent casing was located at the scene. Investigators also obtained surveillance footage from the area. Surveillance cameras recorded a dark-colored vehicle approaching the home on Cerros.
Aguilar is seen standing in the front yard of the residence. The occupants of the vehicle opened fire, striking a vehicle parked in front of the residence, according to court documents.
