Any time Rob Machado surfs on a surfboard, it’s a salve for the eyeballs. A balm for the seeing orbs. A liniment for the peepers. Whatever it is, Rob Machado’s surfing is fantastic to watch. Fluid and graceful and strong all smashed into one little body. Flugracong (FLEW-grah-song), we like to call it. Oh sure, it’s a made-up word, but all words were made up at some point, right? Rob Machado is very flugracong. Especially so when he’s on a surfboard that’s basically made exactly for the way a surfer like Rob surfs. Enter the Firewire Helium Seaside. A flugracong surfboard meets a flugracong surfer.
