Maine State Fire investigators responded to a fire at the United Methodist Church in Unity Monday, around 6 p.m. Investigators were on scene for much of the day on Tuesday.
The Pastor of the church says the fire department and the Fire Marshall suspect arson.
Unity Fire Chief Blaine Parsons said firefighters saved a 150-year-old Bible during the fire.
This fire follows a couple of fires that happened at the same home, also in Unity, last week.

UNITY On Dec. 30, 2020, Investigators from the state Fire Marshal’s office, deputies from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department, and Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms executed a search warrant at an apartment building located at 369 School Street in Unity, according to a State Police news release.
At approximately 6 p.m., investigators searched one apartment and secured a 2009 Toyota Camry. The vehicle was searched and transported to Augusta for further examination.
