Reporter first i want to take you through what weve been seeing the last hour and a half on the scene here. A very emotional scene. When we first pulled up, there were parents lining the street for literally blocks. Parents standing outside of their cars, standing on the side of the road, waiting for answers. Waiting for their children. Literally standing there, some in tears, some hugging each other, others desperate just to hear from their kids. And as the minutes and hours started going on, we
right over there. i heard a lot of gunshots. right after when the police left us out, there was dead bodies everywhere. there was two there and when i kept walking, there was more. it was scary. we were in class talking about project. the fire alarm goes for the second time in the same day which is weird. we go out to the field like we are supposed to. then i hear gunshots. you could tell, definitely gunshots. usually when a fire alarm goes off, it s an accident. it was odd to have two in one day. you heard though students talk about, it was kind of a weird situation that they had had a fire drill today and then heard that second fire alarm go off. caught a lot of them thinking it must be some mistake. there is no way we re doing this twice in one day. quickly realize it was a run for your life situation and in

this is a student by the name of elijah williams, reacting after the shooting, obviously everybody okay. reacting after the shooting with this student s father to here now this videotape from earlier. reporter: tell me what happened. we thought it was just a fire drill because the alarm went off. so we all evacuated, like they do it like every other day. but this was our second fire drill today. so it was kind of different. so we went outside, then everyone started running back inside, we re thinking like it s an evacuation, like a gas leak because they prepared us like three weeks ago before this. we did go back inside, and we did hear shots, we thought it was blanks, that s what our teacher told us, because we re thinking it s just a drill. so we re inside and he gets a notification that we have to go
