It would allow terminally ill patients to legally end their lives. It passed after the heavily publicized case of brittney maynard, a 29yearold california woman with brain cancer who moved to oregon to legally take her own life. The bill heads to governor browns desk. The governor has not indicated whether or not he will sign it.
