Firefighters with the Lafayette Fire Department responded to a fire on Wednesday night at Express Inn Hotel, located at 1314 NE Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Wednesday evening, Lafayette fire crews were dispatched to a house fire started by a space heater on West End Ave. Officials determined that a space heater placed too close to the bed ignited bedding.
On January 3, Lafayette firefighters responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Iantha Street. The home sustained heavy fire damage, and the neighbor’s car and house were also damaged.
