WEST HURLEY, N.Y. â One resident suffered burns and was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a porch fire on Pond Park Road, Fire Chief Garrett âGarryâ Chislett said.
Chislett said he did not know the nature of the residents injuries or the exact address of the house, but said the blaze was âextinguished pretty quicklyâ and was contained to an attached porch.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, Chislett said.
