A worker at Norfolk Iron and Metal in Emporia is lucky to be alive after he was shocked by a power line. Emporia Fire Battalion Chief Eron Steinlage says the incident was reported around 10:15 am, when a truck with a raised bucket accidentally touched the lines. That led to the electrocution of the truck driver, who was later taken to Newman Regional Health with non-life threatening injuries.
