Sampa The Great Walks Off With A Stack of Music Victoria Awards Sampa The Great has won Music Victoria Awards for Best Song, Best Solo Artist, Best Album and Best Soul Funk Gospel or R&B Album at the 2020 Music Victoria Awards. Amy Taylor and Amy and the Sniffers won for Best Band, Best Live Act and Amy Taylor won Best Musician when the awards were announced in Melbourne. Music Victoria Awards Winners Announced!

Thu 10 Dec 2020 Last night was the 16th edition of the annual Music Victoria Awards - a night honouring Victoria’s best acts, albums, songs and musicians of the past 12 months.  Sampa the Great Co-presented by PBS and RRR, this year’s Awards were held as part of the Melbourne Music Week - Extended program at the Melbourne Recital Centre, as well as being livestreamed and broadcast on Channel 31. MC’d by beloved community radio presenters Lyndelle Wilkinson and Chris Gill, the evening featured live performances by Alice Skye, Elizabeth, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and Simona Castricum.
