Piers Corbyn and a group of fellow anti-lockdown protesters have appeared in court accused of breaking coronavirus restrictions over a year ago in London.
Kay Shemirani, also known as Kate Shemirani, 56, is said to have led demonstrations in Trafalgar Square on August 29 and September 19 last year, and Whitehall on September 5.

Five people have been charged with a number of offences following breaches of the Coronavirus regulations. The dates of the breaches range from 29 August 2020 to 31 December 2020 at numerous locations within London.
They are all due to appear at Westminster Magistratesâ Court on Thursday 20 May 2021.
Piers Corbyn, aged 73 (10/03/1947) of East Street, SE17 was charged with the following offences:
On 29 August 2020 in Trafalgar Square he held/was involved in holding a gathering of more than 30 people on land in public outdoor place during emergency period contrary to regulations 5B(1), (2)(b)(iii) and 8(1) and (4) of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No.2) (England) Regulations 2020.
