North Yorkshire B2B PR and marketing specialist Allotts has appointed Fiona Broomfield to the newly created role of General Manager.
Operating out of the agency’s Knaresborough office, Broomfield joins the management team and will initially work alongside Managing Director Philip Allott, with a mandate to deliver more added value services for clients and lead strategic direction across the agency.
The CIPR Accredited Practitioner brings experience from a career which began in local and national press, and includes almost 20 years’ experience in corporate communications for both B2B and B2C clients.
“This is a dream job and an exciting step up for me to bring my communication, marketing and leadership skills to the fore and help shape Allotts’ future strategic direction,” she said.
JO Sims expands cherry business with UK farm management deal

delighted to announce that they have concluded an agreement with Fiona Broomfield to take over the management of the Broomfield family cherry farm in Worcestershire.
The farm, in Cutnall Green, is widely recognised as a high-quality grower of both sweet red and blushed cherry varieties producing a consistently excellent crop.
The Spalding-based fruit company is well experienced in cherry farming, having a controlling interest in farms across the globe.
This agreement marks an expansion to the Sims’ UK cherry ventures, as they look to achieve their goal of 52 week availability of fresh cherries.
