Finnish Olympic Committee President Jan Vapaavuori has claimed the
International Olympic Committee has been "confusingly pro-Russian"
since the invasion of Ukraine, but feels athletes from Russia and
Belarus will still be prevented from appearing at the Paris 2024
Olympics.
Unless action is taken, by the 2040s Finns will be unable to perform numerous jobs that are key for the very functioning of the society, health bodies have warned.
The committee "strongly" expressed its opinion about the matter to the IOC during a conference call as well as in writing, according to its chair, Jan Vapaavuori.
